About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant Level 1 SEN to join our team at Manchester City Council. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive environment, working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide exceptional education for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning across the school, providing general support in the management of pupils and resources.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans for students with special educational needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide administrative support to the teaching team, including preparing materials and resources for lessons.
Requirements
  • Numeracy and literacy skills at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2.
  • Experience of working with children from EYFS to Year 6 (Ages 5-11).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
