Building Surveyor Housing Specialist

Emponics is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support their expanding Painting division in Tonbridge/Maidstone, Kent. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the successful delivery of painting contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction while controlling costs and profit for the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare cost estimates for contracts and tenders, highlighting any risks and opportunities.
- Manage the pricing of tenders to maximise business wins and profitability.
- Prepare cost value reconciliations for contracts, identifying commercial risks and opportunities to ensure correct contract planning.
- Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure productivity targets are agreed and issued before contract start, including direct labour incentives and sub-contractor management.
- Build strong client relations to ensure any variations and progress of contracts are discussed.
