Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical projects from definition through to implementation, ensuring successful delivery and integration of major technical projects within budget and in line with the company's IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction for the successful delivery and integration of major technical projects
  • Review business context for solutions to organizational challenges and define requirements and deliverables for the solution
  • Assure solutions are fit for purpose and align with the organization's IT strategy and standard guidelines
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage day-to-day project delivery and business relationships
  • Provide technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery
  • Support the IT Project Manager in managing the project budget and revenue forecasting
  • Command a group audience and lead technical discussions
  • Own the technical delivery lifecycle and manage technical risks
  • Anticipate needs and position training, support, and other solutions for successful handover of technical solutions
  • Engage with end users, internal technical support, and third-party support to effectively transition technology solutions
  • Draft high-level and low-level design documentation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of delivering technical projects with multiple workstreams and budgets up to £500k
  • Ability to identify and evaluate constraints, assumptions, risks, and dependencies to mitigate against unsuccessful project delivery
  • Ownership of project objectives and a tenacity to achieve success
  • Internal and external stakeholder management and progress reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience working with all levels of project stakeholders up to and including board level
  • Experience working with Commercial-Off-the-Shelf and bespoke solutions
  • Experience in the design and delivery of Microsoft technologies
  • Experience with Cloud-native services and applications (preferably Microsoft Azure / Entra ID)

  • Ability to ensure standards and parameters for any systems on the organizational network are correct and as close to flawless as reasonably can be expected

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Relevant accreditations such as ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, or industry-specific certifications

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years' work experience in a growing and challenging environment
