Job Description

At Schneider Electric, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of small projects, with clearly defined project charters and few potential change management requests, within a single entity of country within a cross-functional project team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Ensure that all projects are completed via our Customer Project Process (CPP).
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage baselines during the execution phase, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and project handover between Sales and Operations teams.
  • Project Execution: Lead the planning and execution of small projects, with clearly defined project charters and few potential change management requests, within a single entity of country within a cross-functional project team.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze and document requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization.
  • Vendor Management: On some projects, where applicable, manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience and specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a technical process or project.
  • Project Management Experience: Have experience in all or most of the following: Power Monitoring Expert, Data Center, Microgrid, Controls, Protection Relays, and Automation, Government contracts, Advanced Metering Infrastructure, PLC programming, Mechanical Metering, Power Monitoring Reporting, Site Acceptance Testing, Service Level Agreements.
  • Government Project Experience: Experience managing Government projects.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Experienced in MS Project, SAP, OS365, SharePoint.
  • Education: Have a PMP certification or working on earning your PMP, Bachelor's Degree (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or relevant equivalent experience.
