Job Title: Server Engineering Manager

Pixel Toys is seeking an experienced Server Engineering Manager to lead our server-side architecture, development, and maintenance efforts. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our server infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the server engineering team to deliver high-performance, scalable server solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between server, client, and web components
  • Design and implement server architecture, including cloud platforms and services
  • Develop and maintain server-side code, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability
  • Optimize server performance, ensuring the system can handle growing demands of an expanding player base
  • Manage continuous integration and deployment (CICD) pipelines to ensure smooth player experience
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and roadmaps for the server department
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in server-side development and leadership
  • Proven track record of delivering robust server solutions in live game environments
  • Expertise in server technologies, including cloud platforms and services
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks and ability to build secure, scalable systems
  • Strong understanding of scalability and performance, including load testing and optimization
  • Knowledge of database management, including SQL and NoSQL
  • Live operations expertise, including continuous deployment pipelines and live monitoring platforms
