About the Role

Cerise Healthcare is seeking exceptional Support Workers to join our team in providing support to Adults with Learning Disabilities in Supported Living Services across the Preston area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist service users with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Manage challenging behavior and provide emotional support
  • Assist with finances, including budgeting and bill payment
  • Prompt and assist with medication administration
  • Assist with cooking and meal preparation
  • Help with household chores, including cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany service users to social events and activities
  • Support service users in accessing the community
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with individuals with challenging behavior
  • Basic numeracy skills and good understanding of written and verbal English
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to undertake one
  • Recent UK-based health or social care experience
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA)
