About the Role

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at Bupa. As the chief fun officer, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and joy-filled atmosphere for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement activity plans that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
  • Organize and lead morning and afternoon activity sessions, including arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, and pub quizzes.
  • Collaborate with care teams to create tailored activity plans that promote residents' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Liaise with external companies and performers to organize days out and events at the home.
  • Support residents with one-to-one activities, such as reminiscing, puzzles, reading, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and a chat.
  • Assist with social media management and other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

We are looking for a creative thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to manage budgets, maintain paperwork, and prioritize tasks effectively. A passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on people's lives is essential.
