Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Manager to join our expanding team at Home Instead. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary care services, ensuring outstanding quality care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Director and Registered Operations Manager to coordinate the setup, growth, and development of our high-quality private domiciliary care service for older people in the local area.
- Network in the local community to raise awareness of our service and promote the highest standards of care and service.
- Offer support and leadership to the care team, ensuring effective management of client relationships and staff performance.
- Converting new client enquiries and coordinating staffing rotas to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant UK legislation and regulations.
- Perform quality assurance visits for clients, continually reviewing and improving our processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is always being delivered.
- Effectively manage complaints and incidents, using findings to initiate improvements and drive quality enhancements.
- Responsibility and ownership of Key Performance Indicators, undertaking monthly audits to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Promote a positive culture in line with the Home Instead ethos and values, working collaboratively with the Registered Manager of our South East Northumberland office to ensure consistency across both offices.
- Experience in a management role in health and social care is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work well and accurately under pressure, remaining responsive, agile, and calm while dealing with multiple priorities.
- Flexibility to meet demands of the business, including participating in an on-call rota.
- Knowledge of relevant UK legislation and regulations governing the provision of care services, including CQC regulations.
- Good working knowledge of IT Systems, with experience of Microsoft Office and ability to work with large databases and virtual communication platforms.
- A relevant qualification in health or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent) or the commitment to gaining the qualification within a set timeframe.
- A competitive salary of £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year.
