Job Title: Trade Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

MONIN UK&I is seeking a highly skilled Trade Marketing Manager to join our team. As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for executing all marketing initiatives targeting UK National & Regional Wholesale accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Deliver Tailored Activation Plans: Create and implement customised activation plans for key wholesale customers, aligning with the annual channel activation plan.
  • Lead Marketing Activities: Drive the execution of all marketing activities across the designated customer base. Set marketing performance metrics, monitor KPIs, provide regular reports, and offer insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimise campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing: Work closely with the Brand Marketing team to create compelling content that resonates with wholesale partners. Provide necessary trade marketing tools, including physical and digital assets, brand collaterals, product brochures, leaflets, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee POS Material Production: Ensure the production of high-quality and consistent POS and educational materials across all wholesale accounts.
  • Coordinate Trade Shows and Events: Organise customer-specific trade shows, events, sales team training sessions, workshops, NPD presentations, and samplings to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Sales, Beverage Experts, MONIN HQ, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies, objectives and broader company goals.
  • Support Long-term Market Strategy: Assist the leadership team in developing the long-term market strategy plan and tactics for its execution.
  • Budget Management: Take ownership of the Foodservice Wholesale channel budget planning and monitor its execution.
  • GAP Analysis: Conduct channel-specific GAP analysis to identify opportunities for MONIN ranges/products.
  • Identify Untapped Opportunities: Proactively identify untapped opportunities for MONIN beverage concepts.
  • Annual Planning and Objective Setting: Actively participate in the annual plan-building process and assist in setting annual objectives.
  • Reporting and KPI Tracking: Contribute to monthly reports and track KPIs to assess performance.

Requirements:

  • 5 years+ Trade Marketing or related field experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, skilled in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software applications.
  • Knowledge of market research methodologies and consumer behaviour principles.
  • Understanding of wholesale and foodservice channels and their dynamics.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards shared goals.

Additional Requirements:

  • Nationally mobile for occasional travels for customer and company meetings and events.
  • Driving licence / active driver.
  • Right to work and live in the UK (no visa support required).
