Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Oncology Clinical Development Manager. As a key member of our Global Clinical Delivery team, you will be responsible for planning and leading the delivery of oncology studies to time, quality, budget, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global study delivery strategies to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of oncology studies.
  • Lead the assessment, selection, engagement, and management of vendors to support study delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines, all applicable laws and regulations, and GSK SOPs for all products and services delivered for designated studies.
  • Make informed decisions that balance risk and benefit, taking into account the impact on the study and project.
  • Collaborate with oncology-aligned staff in other global functions to build relationships and drive study delivery.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related discipline.
  • Considerable clinical development experience, equivalent to 3 years as a global study leader, with a proven track record of driving operational study delivery to time, cost, and quality within the pharmaceutical industry or CRO environment.
  • Proven operational experience of leading high-performing global study teams in oncology clinical trials.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading in the matrix environment to deliver projects, develop clinical plans, and manage change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven clinical development experience across all phases of development (I-IV).
  • Highly developed communication skills to promote effective decision-making.
  • Proven expertise in identifying and resolving issues that may impact clinical programs, with the ability to contribute to solutions affecting cross-functional matrix teams.
