Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our rotational team at East London NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for an OT to consolidate their skills and experience while working across various clinical areas.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work in a highly diverse environment, providing high-quality occupational therapy interventions to patients across the care pathway. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and developing treatment programs for patients with a range of conditions
  • Providing individual and group education and treatment
  • Assessing and advising on assistive devices and equipment
  • Managing a defined caseload of complex cases independently
About the Role

This rotational post offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in various occupational therapy specialties, including community and clinic settings. The successful candidate will work across a 7-day rota, including evenings and weekends, and will be expected to participate in joint clinical sessions with peers.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a broad range of specialties relevant to the post
  • Knowledge of a broad range of clinical conditions
  • Equipment provision and assessment skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively
