About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Wind Tunnel R&D Engineer to join our Aerodynamics Technology Development group. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary design team, you will be involved in innovative and cutting-edge projects for our state-of-the-art wind tunnel model and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement mechanical systems for wind tunnel testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize aerodynamic systems
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and technologies for aerodynamics development
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure successful project execution
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in aerodynamics and mechanical engineering

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical engineering background with experience in wind tunnel testing
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience with CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
  • Knowledge of servo control systems and associated hardware
  • Understanding of motorsport data acquisition systems
