Exciting Opportunity: Wind Tunnel R&D Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Wind Tunnel R&D Engineer to join our Aerodynamics Technology Development team at Red Bull Racing. As a key member of our design group, you will work on innovative projects related to wind tunnel models and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement aerodynamic testing strategies to improve vehicle performance
  • Design and build wind tunnel models and facilities to simulate real-world conditions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate aerodynamic testing into the overall design process
  • Conduct data analysis and interpretation to inform design decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in aerodynamics and wind tunnel technology

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical engineering skills with a focus on aerodynamics
  • Experience with hydraulic systems and servo control systems
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Siemens NX
  • Familiarity with motors, sensors, and connector technology
  • Previous experience in a relevant field is a plus
