About the Role

The Achieving for Children organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate D1 Home to School Driver to join their team. As a key member of the transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of special educational needs (SEN) children between their homes and schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and equipped for the transportation of SEN children
  • Adhere to agreed collection, drop-off, and journey times to ensure timely arrival at destinations
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers, including those with special needs
  • Collaborate effectively with passenger assistants to provide a supportive and inclusive environment
