Job Description:
About the RoleWe are seeking skilled and experienced paint sprayers to join our team at Marshall's Land Systems. As a paint sprayer, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality paint finishes for various military projects.
Key Responsibilities- Spraying components of varying sizes using high-pressure paint guns
- Working with a variety of paints, including gloss, matte, water-based, and solvent-based paints
- Maintaining product certification and approval through regular audits
- Sorting paint defects using various tools and techniques
- Applying paint finishes to units as per customer specifications using electrostatic spray pumps and single/twin pack paints
- Completing all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack
- Supporting production managers and team leaders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standard
- Participating in continuous improvements, including lean and 5s procedures
- Identifying equipment and tooling required for the paint spraying process
- Time-served experience as a painter with a proven track record of paint experience
- Experience in commercial vehicle, motor trade, and aircraft paint spraying
- Fully trained in working with various primers and topcoats, including water-based and solvent-based paints
- City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent time-served experience
