About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our team at Jark PLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services for various projects in Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating, ensuring they are clean, dry, and free from any debris.
  • Paint Application: Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Mixing Paint: Mix paint to the right consistency, taking into account the type of surface, paint, and desired finish.
  • Cleaning: Clean up after work is completed, ensuring the workspace is left in a safe and tidy condition.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, meeting the required quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Painter and Decorator, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify and rectify any defects or issues.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
