**Job Title: SEMH School Learning Assistant**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Assistant to join our team at a SEMH school in Cramlington. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and experience working with young people with SEMH needs.
**Job Description**
This role involves supporting teachers with planning and preparation of learning materials, monitoring and managing student behaviour, and providing one-on-one support to students with EHCPs.
**Responsibilities**
- Support teachers with planning and preparation of learning materials
- Monitor and manage student behaviour
- Provide one-on-one support to students with EHCPs
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An enhanced DBS check or the willingness to obtain one
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or other relevant qualifications
- Effective behaviour management strategies
- Previous experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting
- Previous experience delivering literacy interventions
**What We Offer**
Austin Fraser offers a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, a refer-a-friend bonus scheme, free CPD including Team Teach, and a dedicated consultant to answer any queries and provide ongoing support.
