Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant Role

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology graduate looking to gain experience in education, with the potential to progress into teaching or related careers.
Responsibilities:- Supporting students with additional needs in a 1:1 capacity
- Participating in general classroom activities and contributing to a positive learning environment
- Developing transferable skills and interest in supporting young people with SEMH needs
- Providing patient and understanding support to students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour and create a safe learning environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and schools
- Certificate or degree in Psychology or related field
- Estimated Salary: £19,000 - £24,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Benefits: Statutory holiday pay, temporary position with potential for permanence
