Job Title: Senior Product Accessories Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Accessories Designer to join our wholesale team at Skinnydip London. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and commercially successful product designs for major retailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop products across various categories, including tech, bags, gifting, kitchen, and beauty, in collaboration with major retailers.
  • Create bespoke packaging for products designed, ensuring a cohesive brand image.
  • Develop unique and creative ranges from initial mood boards to final products, working closely with suppliers in the Far East.
  • Draw up CADs using Adobe Illustrator and create functional and technical design packs for suppliers.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure products are developed correctly and meet quality standards.
  • Manage the product development process, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.
  • Take ownership of your accounts and work efficiently to meet deadlines, conducting competitor research and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Upload designs for approvals on licensing systems and resolve technical design queries.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and contribute to the growth and success of the design team.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a design role, preferably at a brand or retailer.
  • Creative with a commercial eye, strong in print and graphic design.
  • Experience working with licensed ranges and proficiency in Adobe packages, particularly Adobe Illustrator.
  • Understanding of the design and development process, including experience working with Far East suppliers.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks in a timely manner, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
