Job Title: Assistant Director

Uxbridge College is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development of an Enhanced Skills and Employability Strategy. This strategic role will drive the Industry Immersed pillar of the College Group's learning philosophy, fostering a culture of innovation and employability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to inform curriculum planning, ensuring regional and local industry needs are met.
  • Liaise with College leaders to design a high-quality curriculum that responds to employer needs and creates opportunities for students.
  • Strategically lead the development of a work experience model that meets Post 16 education requirements.
  • Deliver an employer engagement strategy with the Managing Director for Apprenticeships and Skills, growing sustainable relationships with local employers and contributing to local area economic development.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the EIF and enhanced skills inspections agenda.
  • Successful track record of building stakeholder relationships and developing high-performing services.
  • Experience of leading teams to develop employability opportunities, including work experience and industrial placements.
  • Proven expertise in curriculum and business planning, with sound knowledge of funding streams in the FE Sector.
