About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Estate Services team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the communal grounds, ensuring they are well-manicured and presentable for visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake grounds maintenance duties, including grass cutting, pruning, and weed/moss treatment
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and operated safely
  • Provide accurate and timely information on task progress and complete daily work records
  • Comply with health and safety requirements and supplier guidelines
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with proficiency in operating gardening machinery
  • Pesticide application certificate (PA1-PA6) or equivalent desirable
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full valid UK driving licence required for company vehicle use
