Job Title: Grounds Waste Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grounds Waste Cleaning Operative to join our team at ABM UK. As a key member of our facilities services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various outdoor areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and dispose of waste in designated outdoor areas, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Keep outdoor areas clean and free from debris, performing routine maintenance tasks such as litter picking and sweeping.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety hazards, maintaining records of waste collection and disposal activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective waste management processes.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in grounds waste cleaning or a similar role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of waste management regulations and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends or outside regular business hours if required.
