Management Accountant

Job PurposeAs our Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the month-end close process for all our UK locations. You will work closely with our finance team in the corporate head office to demonstrate your attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Develop and implement financial reporting processes to support monthly reporting to the US parent company, statutory accounts, and tax returns.
- Collaborate with internal and external audit and tax teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the FP&A Team and Commercial Finance to understand P&L drivers and movements in the month, as well as overall business performance.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
- CIMA/ACCA qualification or nearing the end of studies.
- Proven track record of team leadership and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Practical experience in journal entry, balance sheet reconciliation, and a solid understanding of US GAAP/IFRS and SOX requirements.
- Advanced IT skills, including expertise with Excel and finance system expertise.
