About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Radiotherapy Group as a Clinical Education Sister/Charge Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex medical equipment, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on various medical equipment, including high-energy RF, analogue, and digital circuits, and water cooling systems.
  • Work safely with potentially fatal voltages and currents when repairing medical equipment.
  • Plan and organize servicing, calibration, and repair for a range of patient-critical electro-medical equipment.
  • Carry out planned and corrective maintenance, functional testing, and calibration and quality control tests on complex medical devices.
  • Order supplies of parts and accessories for electro-medical equipment in preparation for its repair and maintenance.
