Job Opportunity: Academic Mentor

Job Summary:

Ribbons & Reeves is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Mentor to join our team. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support to students in a classroom setting
  • Deliver one-on-one and small group intervention sessions to students
  • Assist students in understanding curriculum content
  • Help students explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Review and analyze past exam papers to identify areas of improvement
  • Support students in developing effective revision techniques
  • Provide guidance on exam preparation and Oxbridge University applications

Requirements:

  • Must be a Russell Group Graduate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with students of varying academic levels
  • Strong subject matter expertise in English, Maths, or Science

What We Offer:

  • Initial one-year contracts with the option of extensions
  • Competitive salary range of £18,750-£21,000 per annum
  • 39 weeks of work per year, with 13 weeks of paid leave
