Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our team at Macildowie Recruitment and Retention. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for processing purchase orders, invoices, and credit notes, as well as reconciling supplier statements and managing credit control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and credit notes
  • Set up new suppliers
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Send remittance advices
  • Raise sales invoices and manage credit control
  • Record weekly income
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation
  • Assist with finance filing and administration
  • Handle supplier queries
  • Support Finance Officer with ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role
  • Confident over the phone with key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Sage systems experience is advantageous but not essential
