At Daniel Owen Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Damp and Mould Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our social housing department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough damp and mould inspections on social housing properties to identify and assess potential issues.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to mitigate damp and mould growth, ensuring residents live in safe and comfortable environments.
  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to prioritize and schedule repairs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide clear, concise reports and recommendations to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and proposed solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in damp inspection or a related field, with a strong understanding of damp-related issues and their implications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and recommendations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations.
  • A valid driving licence and own car, as travel between properties is required.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive hourly equivalent salary of £25,000 to £30,000, reflecting your expertise and commitment. Beyond the financial rewards, this role provides the satisfaction of contributing to the betterment of social housing standards and enhancing residents' quality of life.
