Catering Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at Sodexo in Nuffield Hospital, Haywards Heath. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing all service aspects of our catering operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of catering staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Coordinate with planners to ensure all catering needs are met, including events and special requests
- Set-up and breakdown events, ensuring equipment and supplies are accounted for
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues raised
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety, allergen awareness, COSHH, and HACCP
- Previous experience in a supervisor position, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Highly professional manner and understanding of the importance of honesty and ethics
- Cheerful outlook and ability to communicate with colleagues and other departments with professionalism and respect
- Computer literacy and administration skills
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.50
- 30 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days
