Senior Accountant

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Senior to join their team in Sussex. As an Accounting Senior, you will be responsible for preparing accounts for the audit team, controlling a portfolio of clients, and preparing various financial documents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accounts for the audit team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Control a portfolio of clients, including individuals and owner-managed businesses, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare financial documents, including corporation tax returns, partnership tax returns, and personal tax returns.
- Review VAT returns and ensure accurate and timely submission.
- Use online accounting packages to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement effective team workflow and ensure seamless communication with clients and colleagues.
- Supervise semi-seniors and assistants to ensure high-quality work and timely delivery.
- Act as a key point of contact for nominated clients, managing their compliance and service requirements.
- Experience with full FRS 102 accounts and IFRS accounts.
- Experience of preparation of group accounts and consolidations, including cashflow statements.
- Experience of foreign subsidiary conversions, including pre- and post-acquisition reserves.
- Experience of calculating minority interests.
- Minimum ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
