Job Details


This is an exciting opportunity to join our technical team at The Corporation of Trinity House as a Technical Maintenance Specialist - Electrical Systems. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our aids to navigation, lighthouses, and other installations. The role requires a good level of experience in a technical maintenance/installation role, with extensive knowledge of electrical systems and fault-finding skills.


Key Responsibilities



  • Maintenance and repair of electrical systems to 18th Edition standards
  • Installation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical systems
  • Electronic fault finding to component level

Requirements



  • A level 3 qualification in a relevant electrical discipline
  • Certified in IEE wiring regulations
  • Full driving license

About the Role


You will be working in a variety of environments, from land-based installations to offshore locations, requiring access over rough ground. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of health and fitness due to the physical nature of the duties involved. You will also be required to spend significant time away from home, working and living in close proximity to your work colleagues.
