Job Summary

MW Appointments is seeking an experienced Senior Binding Authority Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for coordinating technical support functions to ensure the effective placement and servicing of binding authorities and open market accounts on behalf of intermediaries based in Europe.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical support skills, a solid understanding of Lloyds processes and platforms, and proficiency in insurance management software. You will work closely with our technical support team, placing brokers, account executives, clients, bureaux, and markets to ensure seamless operations.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

* Preparing and checking documentation for Lloyd's and Company market presentations
* Creating Cover and Debit Notes
* Assisting in the creation of Broking presentations for new and renewal business
* Preparing triangulations on a monthly basis
* Processing risks and premium bordereau
* Processing claims bordereau and claims collection in a timely fashion
* Reviewing and providing claims history, loss information, major claims analysis, and figures to other divisions, underwriters, and clients
* Dealing with accounts procedures, including credit control, cash allocations, accounts reconciliation, and analysis of results

What we are looking for in a candidate:

* Strong technical support experience for binding authorities
* Understanding of Lloyds processes and platforms and monthly bordereau management
* Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements (CASS rules and legal principles governing insurance)
* Knowledge of professional indemnity, personal accident, D&O, and general liability classes would be preferred but not essential
* Proficiency in insurance funds processing and policy issuance
* Proficiency in using insurance management software and other relevant technology
