About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our People Team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering our People Strategy and driving organisational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior HR leadership support to services, working collaboratively with senior operational managers to achieve the best outcomes for the Trust and staff.
  • Develop and implement workforce plans at an operational level, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and embedding our values in the way we operate.
  • Lead key organisational change programmes, advising managers on change processes and supporting them in complex HR issues.
  • Work in partnership with Trade Unions, applying a business partner approach to drive transformational change and improve employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Chartered Member of the CIPD
  • Masters degree in relevant HR Management or equivalent experience
  • Experience of recent generalist HR in a large complex organisation
  • Experience across a broad range of HR work, including policy development and implementation, investigations, grievance, capability, probation and dignity at work
  • Experience of consultation and working in partnership with Trade Unions
  • Experience of workforce planning across a range of disciplines
  • Experience of applying a business partner approach
