Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 2

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our Reception class team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to provide high-quality education and care for our young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons for EYFS children
  • Assist with the daily routine of the classroom, including setting up activities and supervising children during playtime
  • Help to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for all children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to share information about their child's progress and well-being

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with young children, preferably in an EYFS environment
  • Secure knowledge of how young children learn best and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Commitment to working in close partnership with parents, the governing body, and the wider community
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
