About the Role:

As a CBRE Senior Building Surveyor, you will provide expert advice on complex technical due diligence instructions and general building surveying services.

This role is part of the Building Consultancy function, responsible for specialist building services including surveying, inspections, and planning.

  • Conduct consultancy, contract administration, and building surveys for investment purposes.
  • Oversee the preparation of schedules of dilapidations and approve negotiated claims.
  • Approve planned preventative maintenance schedules and building surveys for investment purposes.
  • Defect evaluation and provide advanced commercial advice to clients.
  • Impact customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.

What You'll Need:

  1. Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  2. Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  4. Sophisticated math skills, including calculation of mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and financial-related calculations.

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $80,000 - $120,000, depending on location and experience. As a senior professional in the field of building consultancy, you will be expected to work independently and make decisions that impact client projects and business outcomes.
