We are currently recruiting for a Stock Management Specialist on a full-time, permanent basis to join our AkzoNobel site in Goole. The role involves monitoring and maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing products, administering and planning stock holding and space, analysing usage patterns and forecasting future inventory needs, and identifying and reporting damaged or defective products to the appropriate department.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a global team, leveraging technology and services to manage goods efficiently. As a Stock Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, making timely decisions, and driving business growth.

What You'll Do
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, movements, and transactions
  • Administer and plan stock holding and storage capacity
  • Analyse data to forecast future inventory needs and identify trends
  • Report any discrepancies or issues related to damaged or defective products
Requirements
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office package
  • SAP and WMS experience preferred
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing shift patterns (when cover is required)

The estimated salary for this position is around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
