Job Description

We are H+H UK, a leading manufacturer of aerated concrete products in the UK.

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per year

This role involves working in an engineering / industrial environment and requires wearing PPE at all times due to the dusty nature of the product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing efficient inventory management systems to track stock levels and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilising inventory monitoring tools to identify trends, set reorder thresholds, and prevent stock-outs.
  • Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Designing and implementing effective storage layouts to maximise space and reduce waste.
  • Developing and managing systematic approaches for ordering supplies, taking into account supplier lead times, budget constraints, and projected demand.
  • Maintaining meticulous records of inventory transactions and supplier data.

Requirements:

  • Higher education qualification (e.g. HND, HNC, NVQ A level, CIPS Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in an engineering or industrial environment.
  • Forklift licence (e.g. B1 & D1).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, MS Word and Excel.
