Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies
Develop, implement, and maintain effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Conduct Risk Assessments and AuditsConduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
Provide Expert Guidance and TrainingProvide expert guidance and training to employees on health and safety matters, including risk management, emergency procedures, and compliance with regulations.
Liaise with External BodiesLiaise with external bodies, such as regulatory authorities and insurance providers, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and to maintain a positive reputation for Oyster.
Investigate Incidents and AccidentsInvestigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements- Relevant Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in health and safety, such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
Proven ExperienceProven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in an educational or similar environment.
Strong Knowledge and SkillsStrong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead, influence, and engage employees at all levels.
