Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Lead to join our client, a reputable business in the Liverpool City Centre, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a Payroll Lead, you will be responsible for managing monthly payrolls across UK and international groups, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and KPIs, and overseeing all deductions, including tax, NI, and SSP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of monthly payrolls across UK and international groups
- Prioritizing workload to ensure deadlines and KPIs are met within the group
- Overseeing all deductions, including tax, NI, and SSP
- Working closely with internal departments, such as HR, to provide data and reports
- Ensuring all HMRC submissions are met according to deadlines
- Overseeing a team of Payroll Clerks to support and coach where needed within the start-to-end process
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a senior, end-to-end payroll role
- Experience running international payrolls desirable
- Level 3 CIPP desirable
- Great communication skills to relay key information to other staff
- Good Excel and systems skills
What We Offer:
- Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 DOE
- £6k Car Allowance
- 20% annual bonus
- 25 days holiday plus BHs
- Monday-Friday (37.5 hours)
- Hybrid working pattern (1 day from home a week)
