Goods-In Supervisor Job Description

Glu Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Goods-In Supervisor to manage the receipt and processing of goods. This is a key role within our logistics operations, requiring strong leadership and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the daily activities of the goods in department, overseeing the unloading, checking, and allocation of stock received.
  2. Conduct quality and quantity checks on incoming shipments, resolving any issues promptly.
  3. Develop and implement effective team management strategies to motivate and train Goods-In operatives.
  4. Collaborate with inventory and stock control teams to maintain accurate records and ensure seamless transitions of goods.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid Forklift truck Licence (Reach, Counterbalance and VNA desirable)
  • 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.

Salary and Benefits:
