About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Service Manager and lead our Weekend Social Club in Buckinghamshire. As a key member of the Build on Belief team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our service to meet the needs of individuals with substance use issues.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and develop the Weekend Social Club to meet the needs of service users.
  2. Lead a team of Service Support Workers, Team Leaders, Facilitators, and Volunteers.
  3. Ensure compliance with Build on Belief's Policies and Procedures, SOPOG, and other relevant guidelines.
  4. Record statistical data and submit monthly reports to the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working with service users and/or volunteers in the substance misuse treatment and recovery field or those with complex needs.
  • Excellent people management skills, including motivating, engaging, and supervising a team of local managers to improve service delivery.
  • Demonstrable ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners within both the statutory and voluntary sectors.
  • Empathy and understanding of staff and volunteers who may themselves be in treatment/recovery (lived experience not essential but valued).
