About the Opportunity
TACT, a leading fostering charity, is seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Panel Vice Chair. This strategic leadership position plays a crucial part in supporting the Chair and contributing to the panel's decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Review: The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating applications to ensure high-quality candidates are selected.
- Meeting Attendance: Regular meetings with the panel will take place to discuss strategic direction and review panel decisions.
- External Representation: As a representative of TACT, the Panel Vice Chair will attend external events and meetings, promoting the organization's goals and values.
- Goal Setting and Achievement: In collaboration with the Chair, the Panel Vice Chair will support the setting and achievement of panel objectives.
- Policy Development: Contributions to the development of panel policies and procedures are also expected.
Remuneration
The role offers a competitive salary of £200 per meeting, with an additional £250 if required to substitute for the Chair of Panel. TACT provides a dynamic and supportive work environment, offering opportunities for training and development.
