Senior Surveyor - Property Development Lead

Plowman Craven is a leading surveying and specialist measurement company in the UK, with offices in Harpenden and London. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Surveyor to lead our Property Development team.

As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing all surveying and technical aspects of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and meeting company standards. You will also mentor and train junior surveyors, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project survey team and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Mentor and train junior surveyors to develop their skills
  • Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to meet project objectives
  • Ensure quality and health and safety standards are met
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in general surveying
  • Laser scanning experience
  • Topographical surveying experience
  • Measured building surveying experience
  • Qualification relevant to surveying or civil engineering
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Strong IT understanding
