Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive commercial growth and increase sales revenue
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales executives to ensure they are fully conversant with and using the enquiry management system efficiently
  • Review and allocate incoming web/email sales enquiries as appropriate and follow up with the sales team
  • Ensure all members of the sales team are logging all enquiries and recording all contact with customers
  • Contribute towards the improvement of internal systems and take a leading role in the implementation of procedures
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions and other events
  • Negotiate contracts with prospective clients and advise the team on upcoming product developments
  • Meet and exceed departmental targets and conduct regular performance reviews with team members
  • Handle and resolve escalated customer service issues and follow up with customers to gauge and record customer satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities
Requirements:
  • Proven sales management experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong IT skills and ability to create and implement strategic sales plans and procedures
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to work under pressure and meet targets
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to analyse and interpret research data
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a 'can do' attitude
  • Creative thinker and resilient and persistent
  • Persuasive and able to work with the company's design, supply chain, marketing and production departments
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £40,000 with an OTE of £65,000
