Job Description

Job Title: Data Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Manager to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our school's data systems, ensuring the accuracy and security of data, and supporting staff in data-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • School Systems Management: Manage and maintain the school's data systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.
  • Assessment, Reporting, and Target Setting: Support staff in data-related tasks, including assessment, reporting, and target setting.
  • Performance Analysis Data Support: Provide data support to staff, including performance analysis and data-driven decision making.
  • Completing External Data Returns: Ensure timely and accurate completion of external data returns.
  • Supporting Colleagues and Stakeholders: Provide data support to colleagues and stakeholders, including data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Education: Honours Degree in Statistics, IT, Maths, or a Higher Education Degree in Data Analysis.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of data management principles, highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
