Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Data Protection Initiatives: Serve as the main point of contact for data protection issues within the organization.
  • Strategy and Compliance: Develop and implement our data protection strategy, ensuring adherence to GDPR and other relevant regulations.
  • Training and Development: Create and deliver training programs to upskill colleagues on data protection requirements.
  • Policy Management: Draft and update data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Conduct Audits: Regularly audit data processing activities to ensure compliance and address any potential issues.
  • Liaison Role: Act as the primary contact for data protection authorities and regulators.
  • ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials: Assist with the implementation of ISO27001 standards and ensure compliance with annual Cyber Essentials activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 3 years in data protection compliance or a related field.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of data protection laws, particularly GDPR.
  • Skills: Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Qualifications: Preferably a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with proficiency in software for preparing reports and presentations.
