Safety Requirements Manager

Salary: Up to £61,500 per annum, dependent on experience.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Requirements Manager to join our Dreadnought Combat Systems Safety Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all safety requirements that filter down from whole boat into combat systems, ensuring that our submarines are safe and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing safety requirements decomposition (DSRs / 4SFRs / 5SFRs) once the Safety Team has completed their analysis.
- Delivering reports into Senior Engineering Manager for safety requirements process.
- Liaising with Subsystems, Safety Team, and Suppliers with regards to Safety Requirements.
- Providing specialist support to the Safety Team/Subsystems in assisting with gap analysis between formal safety requirements and assumptive safety requirements placed on suppliers by the Sub-systems teams.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience using DOORS.
- Safety requirements management experience, with recent experience of managing requirements up and down the V cycle.
- A degree or relevant level of experience in requirements management.
- Defence contract experience.
- Excellent communication and collaborative engagement skills.
