About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Writer and Administrator to join our dynamic bid management function at System C. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for writing high-quality tender responses that showcase our social care and education software products.
Key Responsibilities
As a Bid Writer and Administrator, your primary duties will include:
- Developing a strong understanding of our product suite, particularly in relation to product functionality.
- Producing compelling written tender responses, based on your understanding, to agreed deadlines.
- Reviewing and editing internal colleagues' input to tender responses.
- Ensuring that all new, updated, and high-quality bid content is recorded in our repository for re-use.
- Liaising with the legal team, where applicable, regarding contract documentation.
- Supporting the administration of all framework and tender opportunities, including coordinating written responses; tracking progress; completing supplementary bid documentation; and submitting bids on time.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior bid writing experience, with knowledge of the social care, education, and/or healthcare sectors.
- Experience writing about software functionality.
- A strong attention to detail and excellent writing and copy-editing skills.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, and good administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to problem solve and work in a pro-active manner, with competence in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
