3rd Line Network Engineer

Reed is seeking a highly skilled 3rd Line Network Engineer to join our team in Basingstoke. As a key member of our Bengal Service Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving network operations, ensuring effective triage and escalation of network issues, and collaborating with team members to identify and implement new technologies and processes that enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist a high-profile user community, maintaining daily contact with customers and stakeholders using the IT Service Management Toolset.
  • Monitor Event Management tooling, ensuring effective triage and escalation of network issues.
  • Work within the Bengal Service Operations team, focusing on maintaining and improving network operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement new technologies and processes that enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proficient with VCenter NSX-T.
  • Experience with Cisco Firepower Management Centre.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS and Cisco ISE.
  • Familiarity with Juniper Switches & JUNOS.
  • Skilled in using SolarWinds for network management.
  • Understanding of Active Directory and Windows Servers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
