About the Role

As an Ultrasound Technologist at Espirita, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Your primary responsibility will be to perform diagnostic patient examinations using ultrasound equipment, capturing, analysing and recording images and patient data to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic patient examinations using ultrasound equipment.
  • Capture, analyse and record images and patient data.
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures.

Requirements:

  • A Post Grad Certificate or Diploma in medical ultrasound, gynae, obstetrics and abdominal ultrasound is preferred.
  • Experience scanning Abdominal, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Small parts, DVT, Carotid and vascular scans on both inpatient and outpatients is required.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
