About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive and inspect incoming stock, identifying any discrepancies or damage.
  • Effectively manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stockouts.
  • Proactively contribute to the improvement of warehouse processes and procedures, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely dispatch of goods, meeting customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping, adhering to contamination control procedures and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing customer demands.

Requirements

  • Good level of education and relevant warehouse experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work a Saturday shift and potential branch cover at other facilities as required.
  • Engaged and motivated to deliver personal development performance to meet objectives and KPIs.
